Wiki Loves Monuments - the largest photography competition in the world has returned to Pakistan for 2016

Wiki Loves Monuments is an annual international photographic competition around cultural heritage, organised worldwide by the Wikipedia community.

Wiki Loves Monuments is annually taking place every September since 2010 and is officially certified by the Guinness World Records as the largest photography competition in history. The aim of Wiki Loves Monuments is to highlight and preserve the world's cultural heritage sites digitally, with the goal to encourage participants to capture photos of historically and culturally significant sites, and then upload them to Wikipedia under a free license which can then be re-used not only in Wikipedia but everywhere by everyone.

This is the third time Pakistan is taking part in this multinational competition so do not miss this amazing opportunity to promote the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan through one of the most popular websites, Wikipedia. Kindly participate yourself and spread the word as well. The world is waiting to see what does your cultural heritage mean to you!
