گوندي يا گوجي بيري (انگريزي: wolfberry؛ چيني: 枸杞؛ گوگي)، لئسيئم باربرم (Lycium barbarum) يا چائنن ڳاراٺي (Lycium chinense) جو مٺو ميوو آهي، نائٽ شيڊ خاندان، سولانيسي ۾ باڪس-ٿورن جا ٻه ويجها لاڳاپيل نسل آهن.[1] ايل.باربرم ۽ ايل.چائننس ميوو هڪجهڙا آهن پر ذائقي ۽ کنڊ جي فرق جي ڪري فرق ڪري سگهجي ٿو.[2]

اهي ٻئي قسمون مشرقي ايشيا جي آهن [3] ۽ ڊگهي عرصي کان روايتي اوڀر ايشيائي کاڌن ۾ استعمال ڪئي وينديون آهن. اتر آمريڪا ۾، ڳاراٺي (Lycium) نسل جي مختلف قسمن کي عام نالو ڊيزرٽ-ٿورن ڏنو ويو آهي ۽ برلينڊيئر ولف بيري، لئسيئم برلينڊيئر قسم لاء عام نالو آهي.[4]

اهو ميوو اوڀر ايشيا جي روايتي دوائن، روايتي چيني، جاپاني ۽ ڪورين دوائن ۾ پڻ گهٽ ۾ گهٽ ٽين صدي عيسوي کان وٺي، هڪ جزو رهيو آهي.[5] [6] فارماڪوپيا ۾ هن ٻوٽي جي ميوي کي لاطيني نالو لائسائي فرڪٽس (lycii fructus) ۽ پنن کي هربا لائسائي (Herba lycii) سڏيو ويندو آهي.[7] [8]

اٽڪل 2,000 کان وٺي، گوجي بيري ۽ نڪتل پروڊڪٽس، انهن جي صحت جي فائدن بابت مبالغ ۽ غير ثابت ٿيل دعوائن ڪارڻ، ترقي يافته ملڪن ۾، صحت جي خوراڪ يا متبادل دوائن جي طور عام ٿي چڪيون آهن.[9][10][11]
