اطلاقي رياضيات
اطلاقي رياضيات (Applied Mathematics) علم ۽ فن جي مختلف شعبن، جهڙوڪ فزڪس، انجنيئرنگ، طب، حياتيات، ماليات، ڪاروبار، ڪمپيوٽر سائنس، تعميرات ۽ صنعتن پاران رياضياتي طريقن جو استعمال آهي.[1] اهڙيءَ طرح، اطلاقي رياضيات، سائنس جي هڪ خاص شعبي ۾، تخصيصي علم جو ميلاپ آهي. اصطلاح "اطلاقي رياضيات" پيشه ورانه خاصيت کي پڻ بيان ڪري ٿي، جن ۾ رياضي دان، رياضيات جي ماڊلن کي ترتيب ڏيندي ۽ مطالعي ڪندي، عملي مسئلن تي ڪم ڪن ٿا.[2]
ان جو خالص رياضيات (Pure Mathematics) سان ڪو وڏو فرق ناهي. اطلاقي رياضيات جو واسطو عملي مسئلن سان ھوندو آھي. هن جي دائري ۾ سائنس ۽ فن جي ڪيتري ئي شاخون اچي ويندون آهن، جنهن ۾ شماريات، امڪاني نظريو (probability)، ميڪانيات (Mechanics)، رياضياتي فزڪس ۽ ٻيا ٺھڪندڙ موضوع شامل آهن.[3]
ماضي ۾ عملي اطلاقيون (Applications) رياضياتي نظرين جي ترقي کي متحرڪ ڪيو. جيڪو پوءِ خالص رياضيات، جن ۾ تجريدي تصورن جو مطالعو هڪ سائنس طور ڪيو ويندو آهي، ۾ مطالعي جو موضوع بڻجي ويو. اهڙي طرح، اطلاقي يا لاڳو ڪيل رياضيات جي سرگرميون، خالص رياضيات ۾ تحقيق سان ويجهي سان ڳنڍيل آهي.[4]
