Usage

Given a country name and optionally a subdivision name, returns the country code or subdivision code per ISO 3166-1 or ISO 3166-2.

Example:

• {{Country abbreviation|Afghanistan|Kunduz}} gives

Tracking categories

• Category:Wikipedia page with obscure country or subdivision (can't figure out the combined country-sub)
• Category:Wikipedia page with obscure country (Can't figure out just the country)
• Category:Wikipedia page with very obscure country (even the switch doesn't get it)
