قيد خانو (Prison) جيل (Jail) يا زندان ھڪ اھڙي جڳھ آھي جاٿي ماڻھن کي زبردستي رکيو ويندو آھي ۽ سزا جي طور تي رياستي عمل داري جي تحت مختلف قسم جوم آزاديون کان محروم ڪريو ويندو آھي۔ ^[1]
