سيدنا عثمان بن علي (عربي: عُثْمان اِبِنْ عَلي) امير المومنين سيدنا علي بن ابي طالب رضي الله تعالٰي عنه ۽ ام البنين جا پٽ هئا. هنن ڪربلا جي جنگ ۾ امام حسين رضي الله تعالٰي عنه جي گڏ وڙهيا، جنهن ۾ هنن شهيد ٿي ويا.[1] مسلمانن ۾ سيدنا عثمان کي سندس قرباني جي ڪري تمام گهڻو عزت ڏني ويندي آهي. ڪجهه ذريعن موجب سيدنا عثمان 21 سالن جا هئا ۽ شهيد ٿيڻ وقت سندس ڪو به اولاد نه هئي.[2] [3]
عثمان ۽ سندس ڀائر سيدنا عباس ابن علي، سيدنا عبدالله ابن علي ۽ سيدنا جعفر ابن علي پنهنجي ڀاء، سيدنا حسين ابن علي رضي الله تعالٰي عنه سان گڏ مڪي کان ڪوفي جو سفر ڪيا ۽ ڪربلا جي جنگ ۾ شهيد ٿي ويا. سندن قبرون سيدنا حسين ابن علي رضي الله تعالٰي عنه جي مزار ۾ ڪربلا جي شهيدن جي اجتماعي قبر ۾ آهن.

سوانح حيات
[سنواريو]He was the son of Ali and Fatima bint Hizam.[4] Apparently, 'Uthman did not get married and had no children.[5] In a weak narration, Ali named his son Uthman after Uthman ibn Maz'un according to shia narration.[6]
Uthman's mother, Fatima, was the daughter of Hizam ibn Khalid ibn Rabi'a from the Arab tribe of Banu Kilab. She was the mother of three more sons of Ali, namely Abbas, Abdullah, and Ja'far, and for this reason she became known as Umm al-Banin.[3]
Death
[سنواريو]Uthman went to the battlefield saying: "I am Uthman the possessor of glory, my master is Ali the executor of virtuous deeds, this is Husayn the master of fairness, the master of the young and old". Khawli ibn Yazid al-Asbahi shot an arrow at Uthman's forehead resulting in him falling off his horse. Then a man from the Banu Darim tribe beheaded him.[2][3]
Uthman ibn Ali was 21 years old when he was killed on the day of Ashura.[2][3] His grave is in the shrine of Husayn.[حوالو گهربل]
